Outback baths

OUTBACK QUEENSLAND

We came here for water; 42C water, mineral-rich-magic to soak our souls and recharge our batteries. Seems like a crazy place to go… a visit to mulga country… a long way from anywhere… but it’s the contrast that’s striking. In a life of busy… it’s often the opposite we need. Sometimes we know it, sometimes we don’t… it’s not until we get there, slow down, taste it, feel it, that we realise what has been missing…

Order your copy of Issue 5 today for a relaxing time with us under the splendour of Outback sunrises and sunsets as we soak up nature’s goodness in deep artesian water baths.

Fire ant

ANTS GO MARCHING

Fire ants will attack and consume just about anything they can, including immature plants, insects, small prey and dead animals. They use venomous stingers to inject toxin into their targets to paralyse them before they use their strong jaws to rip them apart. The ants can kill native species and even bring livestock to an ugly end. Their demolition tendencies even extend to crops and machinery; no landscape genre is safe or exempt from the fire ants’ fury…

Order your copy of Issue 5 today to join us in the fight against red imported fire ants as they continue their fierce death march across this great country of ours!
